Here are a couple pics of the first pair of socks I've ever made!  Only so far... I am working on a second pair currently.  As for this pair, now I think you can see why I'm just so-so on this pair of socks.  The colors are not mingling as well as I'd hoped, and truthfully, I think there are too many colors involved here.  Had it been just one of the colors or just blue and green or whatever, I wouldn't have been as bothered by it.  It obscures what a cool pattern Monkey is.  But they fit, as you can see, and I am happy that I didn't mess up too badly ever.
This here is a package from a very generous host.  For the Punk Rock Gift Exchange Mini, I won the prize for the contest held and got ALL of this!!  There are 2 beautiful skeins of recycled cotton (very cool, if you know me at all, one thing I constantly harp on is reducing the amount of waste, and how cool is it to receive a gift that also fits into my favorite hobby!)  That's the blue on the left.  The yarn on the right is R2 Fuzzy Felt in black (4 balls!).  I also got cool handmade skull stitch markers made by Sunne herself!  Yay, I was so happy!  It all came in two cute bags that will make great project bags and a little note.  :o)
